(Alessandra Scotacci) – La Triennale di Milano riscrive le regole della gioielleria. E dimostra che, nelle sapienti mani degli artisti, anche la carta può diventare preziosa come l’oro e le gemme. Lo sanno bene Alba Cappellieri e Bianca Cappello, curatrici della mostra “Gioielli di carta” in programma nel capoluogo lombardo dal 16 settembre al 25 ottobre. Ovvero la più completa rassegna mai dedicata al gioiello di carta attraverso i progetti di sessanta designer provenienti da tutto il mondo, dall’Australia alla Finlandia, dal Giappone all’Olanda, dalla Turchia alla Polonia. Piegata, ricamata, intrecciata, cucita, spugnata, plissettata, fustellata, riciclata, incollata, acquerellata, la carta rivela tutta la sua poliedricità e sorprende con le sue mille declinazioni. Diventa rarefatta negli origami di Nobuko Murakami, elegante nei plissé di Janna Syvanoja o nelle gorgiere dell’olandese Nel Linnsen, geometrica nelle strutture di Sandra di Giacinto e materica grazie alle texture di Ritsuko Ogura. Impossibile non riflettere sul concetto di preziosità: non sono più i metalli e le pietre a rendere unici i pezzi esposti ma l’idea stessa, che rappresenta il filo conduttore di tutta la mostra.

Con la sua versatilità la carta si presta a orizzonti progettuali nuovi e solitamente distanti dal mondo del gioiello e degli accessori di moda, all’insegna della sostenibilità e dell’ecologia, esplorando linguaggi e temi trasversali come l’ornamento, il colore, la forma, la superficie. Tra i creativi protagonisti dell’evento anche sei designer di arredamento, che hanno realizzato i loro gioielli di carta appositamente: Matteo Bazzicalupo e Raffaella Mangiarotti di deepdesign, Marco Ferreri, Miriam Mirri, Marco Romanelli con Marta Laudan e Paolo Ulian. Assieme a loro anche gli studenti del Politecnico di Milano, dell’Accademia di Brera e dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze con le loro creazioni.
